Go Au Pair’s DOUBLE PROMO saves Host Families up to $500 when matching with an Au Pair who is in their home country.  

As the Au Pair Program returns to its prior splendor in the New Year, we are excited for Host Families to experience the practical benefits and awesome experiences Au Pair child care offers.

The savings offered ease the possible inconveniences Host Families may experience as embassies and travel resume regular operations.  We thank you and appreciate your patience, understanding and commitment to Au Pair success. 




DOUBLE PROMO Family Eligibility Requirements
  • Families working with Go Au Pair for the first time (no Au Pair from our agency before), and
  • Families matching with an Au Pair who is outside of the U.S. (“out of country” or “first time” Au Pair)
$250 Application Fee Discount eligibility:
  • Families who complete and submit a Family Profile between December 15, 2020 and April 30, 2021 and match within 60 days of profile approval, or
  • Families with approved profiles from before December 15, 2020 
    • who were already searching for an Au Pair as of December 15, 2020 and match by February 13, 2021 (60-days from promotion start date), or
    • who were not actively searching as of December 15, 2020, re-activate their search, and match within 60-days of re-activation date
$250 Define Your Success Discount eligibility:
  • Families who submit a Successful Placement Questionnaire within the 2-week time frame or before extending an offer to an Au Pair (whichever is first), or
    • 2-week time frame is defined by family situation and includes: 
      • Families submitting Family Profiles on or after December 15, 2020 have 2 weeks from date of profile approval, or
      • Families with Family Profiles approved before December 15, 2020
        • If already searching for an Au Pair as of December 15, 2020 have until December 29, 2020 (2 weeks from promotion start date), or
        • If search is re-activated have 2 weeks from re-activation date
  • Families who have already completed a Successful Placement Questionnaire prior to December 15, 2020




DOUBLE PROMO Discount Application
Discounts awarded during the DOUBLE PROMO are applied to the first payment made by Host Families called the Match Fee.  Match Fees are collected as part of confirming the match and are required before creating visa paperwork.




DOUBLE PROMO Definitions
Family Profile Submit is defined as: Completing all required questions in all three sections of the “My Profile” tab in the Go Au Pair Community and clicking the orange “Complete My Profile” button.  An email confirmation is sent when a Family Profile is submitted.

Family Profile Approval is defined as: Go Au Pair Headquarters approving all sections of a Host Family profile.  An email confirmation is sent when a Family Profile is approved.

Match is defined as: Host Family extending an offer to an Au Pair with completed Au Pair Benefits and Au Pair Duties information (Child Care Services Agreement) and Go Au Pair Headquarters sending the draft agreement to the Au Pair for verbal offer acceptance.

Extend offer is defined as: A Host Family using the “Extend Offer” feature in the Go Au Pair Community located in Favorites and on Au Pair Profiles, answering all required questions and documenting at least one interview with the Au Pair.  An email confirmation is sent when a Family extends an offer to an Au Pair.

Successful Placement Questionnaire submit is defined as: Completing all required questions of the Questionnaire, submitting answers, and seeing the “thank you” page.  An email confirmation is sent to Go Au Pair Headquarters when a Questionnaire is submitted.

Re-activation of search is defined as: Family notifying Go Au Pair of desire to re-activate account and resume Au Pair Search and Go Au Pair Headquarters granting the permissions required for Families to communicate with Au Pairs (access to chat, Send Family Profile, and Interview features of the community).  An email confirmation is sent when a Family is re-activated.
